Monstera deliciosa Albo is a variegated form of Monstera deliciosa, recognised by its white and green variegated foliage. Like this species, it is a climbing aroid capable of developing very large leaves when mature.

We have been growing Monstera Deliciosa Albo for over 1 year, testing different substrates and growing conditions.
🌱 Root development
Organic mix - strong and reliable root development with no significant problems observed.
Zeolite mix - also performs well while the plant is smaller. We have limited experience with larger plants because scaling this substrate to bigger pots becomes more difficult.
💧 Watering
The plant is not particularly demanding with watering. We follow our usual watering approach based on substrate moisture and plant needs.

🧬 Our conclusion
Our experience with Albo is very similar to normal Monstera deliciosa. The main difference is its increased sensitivity to strong light because of the variegation, especially when humidity is low, which can lead to leaf burn.
Once established, growth becomes faster with each new leaf. Overall, it is a fairly forgiving plant with a little extra attention needed for its white tissue.
