Philodendron Florida Beauty is a climbing aroid known for its deeply lobed leaves and attractive variegation. Like many climbing Philodendrons, it benefits from good root development and suitable support as it matures.

We have been growing Florida Beauty for over 1 year, testing it in organic, zeolite and mineral substrates.
🌱 Root development
Organic mix - fast root production, but a less developed root system.
Zeolite mix - strong root but longer development time.
Mineral mix - strongest performance. Roots occupied the substrate within approximately 1 month before extending into the reservoir.
💧 Watering
Organic substrate was watered based on actual moisture, using a soil moisture meter.
Zeolite and mineral substrate received a fresh nutrient solution approximately every 3 days.

🧬 Our conclusion
Florida Beauty has proven to be a very resilient plant for us. It rarely performed poorly or died regardless of the substrate used and generally develops a strong root system.
Its variegation has also remained very stable, with no temporary shifts observed. However, under insufficient light, the cream-white variegation tends to become lighter green.
