Water tester
What is it?
An aquarium water test kit helps measure important water parameters such as GH, KH, and other dissolved components. This gives us a better idea of what is already present in our water before adding nutrients.

We have been using one for around 6 months to understand our water and adjust our fertilizer formulations accordingly.
It was also one of the reasons we decided to add RO water to our system — giving us much more control over the nutrients we provide and helping avoid unwanted changes in water chemistry.
A simple tool, but it gave us a much better starting point for fertilizer development.
